Kristin and Dave’s love story is one of our favorites! They met at work and Dave actually interviewed and hired Kristin. Little did Dave know that he was actually interviewing his wife-to-be! They didn’t start dating until a couple of years later, but after dating they knew quickly that they were a good match! Kristin and Dave are super fun and adventurous. They are always checking out new restaurants, running in the local 5Ks, and traveling to a new destination. Dave proposed to Kristin in front of the stunning Hotel del Coronado on an ice-skating rink, I mean come on, how much more romantic can that get?!
Kristin and Dave’s wedding was one for the books. The day began with the girls getting pampered by the wonderful ladies from The Be[YOU]y House in their cute matching robes. Serendipity Cinematography caught lots of laughs and tears as the bride and groom read their letters from each other.
The bridal party was looking mighty fine! The groom and groomsmen wore classic gray tuxedos and the lovely ladies wore mismatched Bill Levkoff navy gowns. The pastel florals created by Allison of Array Design were a perfect compliment.
The ceremony was held at New City Church where Kristin and Dave attend on Sunday mornings. Mike Olbinski captured some exciting photos of them on the city streets and on the light rail! After Brian Kruckenberg officiated the ceremony and pronounced Kristin and Dave “husband and wife,” the couple and their friends went to the historic Wrigley Mansion to celebrate! The tables were set, and guests found their seats with custom name cards printed on Wrigley gum wrappers! Dave Bernstein of SKM Entertainment kept the party hopping with upbeat hits and the only reason the couple left the dance floor was to eat their delicious cake from Robert’s Catering. The night ended with an elegant sparkler exit on the balcony of the Wrigley Mansion. Much love to Kristin and Dave! Keep traveling, running, and let Kristin load the dishwasher and we know your marriage will be blessed.
