Last week we had the honor and privilege of working alongside a few of our absolute favorite local vendors for a styled shoot. We all collaborated together to deliver this vision our team had for the shoot, which was a fresh spring look to match this gorgeous time of year. Each vendor brought a unique element to the shoot and when everything was paired together, the vision was executed seamlessly! We love that this industry is filled with people that celebrate each other's successes and work together to create beautiful content.

Design Inspiration

When dreaming up this shoot, we had a fresh color palette in mind filled with soft neutrals and pops of citrus. We wanted to convey a feeling of joy with these colors and details while maintaining an elegant aesthetic. Our hope is that when you view these details, it takes you back to a perfect summer day with a soft breeze and the smell of fresh citrus.

Vendor Selection

We handpicked the vendors involved in this shoot because we wanted to be able to step back and give whoever was involved the freedom to create. It takes talent to be able to execute someone else's vision while also incorporating personal style, but that's exactly what this team did. We simply sent an overall color scheme and vision board to each of them and then left it to them to create details that showcased their talent and our vision.

We left this shoot feeling inspired and grateful. As planners, we spend much of our time coordinating, organizing, and remembering things everyone else forgets. Don't get us wrong, we actually love our job! But, when we finally get to see our vision come to life, it is absolutely the most rewarding part of our job.
