Katie and Jon are the total package! Talk about a couple who is incredibly kind, has a great sense of humor, are madly in love, have the cutest little dog and impeccable taste! Planning their wedding was definitely at high of our 2018!

Their day was filled with sentimental moments that won’t be forgotten, including their first look in the desert. Another misty-eyed moment was Katie’s sister surprising the couple by singing a song she wrote for them and playing the guitar. An unforgettable moment when the couple said their vows in the shadows of Arizona mountains. The memories kept streaming with the gorgeous décor, details, delicious food, and no one will forget Jon’s entrance for the garter toss!

Let’s just say, everyone was looking SHARP! Katie wore a gown from Destiny’s Bridal that perfectly complimented her silhouette figure. The bride tribe dressed in slate blue dresses from Show Me Your MuMu. The groom and groomsmen rocked classic blue suits from Generation Tux. And the mother-of-the bride wore a gorgeous pink gown from Nordstrom. The formal attire, along with hair and makeup done by Ieshia Tapia got everyone in the mood and ready for the wedding day!

The vendor team was clearly on their A-game because everything flowed flawlessly. Photographer Ryann Lindsey and Videographer Tyler McDonald worked together to capture every moment of the day. Allison of Array Design created a gorgeous floral backdrop for the ceremony, bouquets and boutonnieres, and even flowers in the fountain. The ceremony was breathtaking under the mountains at Windgate Ranch. Family and friends arrive, while Sean and Taz Joplin played acoustic guitar. Matt Anderson officiated the ceremony and the marriage vows were sealed with a kiss!

Guests were ushered into Cocktail Hour and laughed as they searched the seating chart for their photo (found by Katie and Jon on Facebook) instead of traditional escort cards! The couple found so many creative ways to entertain their guests. The tabletops in the reception space were our favorite! Taper candles burned around the floral centerpieces, with linens from La Tavola, set with mismatched china plates from Beautiful Things, and colorful plates of delicious food were set by the catering team from Whisk Chop.

The party didn’t stop with the dinner. The DJ, William from Deckstar Universe, (along with the open bar) kept the guests on the dancefloor! Greyson entertained guests with goofy props at The Photo Booth. Anthony from Caffio Espresso Bar prepared hot drinks from his adorable coffee cart and a stunning cake from Veronica of Dessert First was served! The celebration didn’t end at the venue either, this group kept the party going at the local bar next door!

Weddings like this is why we love our job. Amazing couples with phenomenal family and friends celebrating their commitment to one another. (And pretty wedding details too, of course.) Katie and Jon, we adore you. We are so thankful to be a part of your big day. And we wish you all the love and a joy-filled married life!
