In this October wedding, Sara and Steven had their wedding in the midst of a pandemic. While this was a dealbreaker for some, the couple decided not to push their wedding back because they were so ready to be married! Steven proposed on a camping trip to Lake Tahoe, where they conquered a difficult hike. He asked a friend to take a photo of them then got down on one knee!
Sara and Steven decided to say “I do” at the Sanctuary. It was a lovely location on a beautiful day!
The day started off with a hike up Camelback mountain, then the bridal party went to get ready. The Bridesmaids did their own hair and makeup, while Sara’s glam was done by Lauren Wohlin from S & L Trends and Adorned Beauty Co. Soon after the bride started getting ready, the groomsmen tackled their day.
The couple’s first look was priceless. When Steven turned around, he was overjoyed to see his bride- his facial expressions said it all! The two were so excited to see each other, and even more excited to be at the altar just a few hours later.
Next was ceremony time! Sara walked down the aisle sporting a smile from ear to ear. They were officiated by Jacob Stephenson. The lovely couple exchanged their vows and rings, then were finally able to become husband and wife!
The reception had live music performed by the Lucky Devils Band. Every detail was beautiful! Allison from Array Design decorated the venue with beautiful flowers, the bright colors were everything! There was a quick dress change before the first dance. The couple then cut the cake, played their last song, and then they were off!
We absolutely loved being a part of Sara and Steven’s special day. The love projecting from the couple made the day so sweet, exactly what a wedding should be! The day was captured beautifully by Daniel Kim, both on digital cameras and film. We wish nothing but the best for this happy couple!
