There is always so much going on here at Riding Tandem, but we couldn’t get any of it done without our incredible team of interns. Each and every one of these girls brings so much energy and personality to the table and we want you to get a little taste of it. Keep reading to meet all SEVEN (our biggest team yet eek!) of our beautiful interns!

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM

Hadley Larson - Our social media extraordinaire, Hadley, works tirelessly to share all the awesome things we have going on. She also does an amazing job at making sure our Instagram feed looks fresh and on point! This entrepreneur runs her own small business selling custom stationary, (check out her shop, Golden Element Calligraphy) while also studying more about business at Grand Canyon University (GCU). Hadley enjoys exploring the Phoenix area with her friends and you might even consider her a local expert. Her adventures often consist of green tea from AJ’s, shopping, flowers, and chasing those beautiful Arizona sunsets.

Savannah Gardner - Alongside Hadley is our Instagram stories guru, Savannah. Savannah has been killing the game with stories that are equal parts cute and informative, as she uses the insight from her studies at GCU. Pursuing a degree in advertising and graphic design, Savannah wants to oversee the branding and social media for small businesses. She also hopes to continue doing freelance illustration work, (check out her designs here!). When she isn’t being a baller at social media, Savannah loves driving around listening to music with friends and finding cute coffee shops while getting even cuter photos!

BUSINESS BABES

Everyone needs a right-hand man, or two! Megan & Jourdan do anything and everything to help this business run smoothly from organizing team activities, contacting vendors, and creating free goodies for our subscribers. These girls are amazing, and you definitely want to know them!

Megan Birrell - This dog loving cutie is majoring in hospitality management at GCU and is looking to enter the events and hotel management industry after she graduates in the Spring. When Megan isn’t studying hard or learning more about business at Riding Tandem, she’s most likely shopping at Target or T.J. Maxx. She might also be watching movies with her friends and family, like her favorite, the RomCom classic; 50 First Dates.

Jourdan Snyder - Jourdan is our team fashionista and never fails to bring her sense of style to all our amazing projects! Also attending GCU, she is a senior majoring in business administration and minoring in marketing with hopes of becoming a retail buyer in the fashion industry. Being a girl of many talents, Jourdan is also quite the soccer star and a master at using Canva.

MARKETING TEAM

Jacquelyn Kelly - Our soon to be graduate, Jacquelyn, is nailing it as our website commander. Jacquelyn oversees every part of our online presence through strategizing and editing our email newsletters and Pinterest feeds, writing a share of Riding Tandem blogs and updating our website. Even better, she is currently working on a secret project we know you’ll all love, so stay tuned! Amidst all the craziness, Jacquelyn is also finishing up her undergrad in liberal arts at Arizona State University (ASU). After graduating in August, she also plans to get a job working in events and wedding planning. In her free time, you can find Jacquelyn at the gym, with friends, or swimming!

Natalie Giacone - Certified wedding planner you say? That's right, our very own Pinterest mastermind, Natalie, recently became certified in wedding planning! As a part of the marketing team, she strategizes our Pinterest page to maximize our viewers and drive them to our website. Working towards a degree in business administration, she dreams of one day owning her own business as well as investing in a few franchises. Natalie loves exploring forests, particularly the redwoods as she is originally from Northern California. If she can’t be in the woods though, Natalie enjoys going back to her roots of gymnastics and cheer and soaking up time at the gym.

Carsen Lacey - Last but not least is our email marketer Carsen! As an entrepreneurship major, she is loving the opportunity to learn the marketing side of business hands on with our email newsletters (sign-up here!) and contributing to our weekly blogs. She looks forward to graduating this coming December so she can enter the promotional events industry and hopefully run her own events company someday. After finishing her tasks with Riding Tandem, she loves to put on a face mask, make herself a latte, and watch a few episodes (or a whole season, oops) of her favorite tv show, Friends.

When asked what their favorite part of this internship has been, every single girl said that they’ve loved simply working alongside each other and being apart of this rockstar girl gang at Riding Tandem. We really have had a blast this last month working together and we’re so excited to put out more content for you all this summer.
