Your wedding is your day, and so it shouldn’t look like every other bride’s day! There are so many different areas that you can customize to truly make it your own. Let’s give you some inspo on how to turn the wedding day into your wedding day!

SHOW OFF THAT NEW LAST NAME

Hey, you! You now share a new last name with your HUSBAND! Your wedding day is the first time you will be announced with the last name in common. So let’s show that off, why don’t we? There are multiple ways to tie this into your day. One way is to create a custom monogram creat for your invitation suites. This brings elegance to your wedding day. This crest can be used on napkins, the dance floor, your wedding cake, and welcome bags. you could also take the new name in a more modern direction. Are you all as in love with the neon name signs as we are? Place this above the sweetheart table as custom decor. Better yet, these double as your first piece of “us” for your new home. Seeing your name in lights will never get old.

BRING THE PARTY

I don’t know about you but I want all of my guests to bring the party to the dance floor! Help them with this by providing fun things to liven up the floor. This could look like some feather boas, fun glasses, or ribbon wands that can double as a grand exit prop. These will bring adults and kids together to have an absolute blast. Another way to keep your guests dancing all night long is with a late-night snack. Head over to our blog post about hot catering for more ideas on this! Provide guests with film cameras to use as the party goes on. It is such a sweet surprise to get these developed after the big day!

Custom Signage

To continue on with displays of your new name, custom signage adds a personal touch to many different areas of your wedding. Signage can be used near your ceremony, by the bathrooms, at the bar, and for the seating chart. A welcome sign will typically be by the aisle inviting guests into your day. This is also where you will see an “unplugged” sign and a “peak a seat, not a side” sign if applicable. A fun idea for bathroom signage is to use a picture of you and your groom when you both were younger to identify the men’s and women’s bathrooms. At the bar, use a custom sign for your signature drinks. Get creative with these! There are also so many ways to display the seating chart. Do you know what keeps guests happy? Champagne! Use a “Sip and Be Seated” chart to help guests find their seats. Each flute can have a drink stirrer with the table assignments on them.
