You already said “Yes!” and picked a date, next up is choosing a venue! Venue shopping can go a couple of different ways, either the venue will determine your central theme or your theme will dictate the venue. For example, a beautiful farm will enhance the overall atmosphere if the theme is rustic. On the other hand, if you choose an outdoor, desert oasis, lean into the bohemian feel for a cohesive vibe. Here in Phoenix, there are countless venue options, each providing a unique experience; keep reading to hear about some of our favorites!

THE PASEO

The Superstition Mountains are the perfect backdrop to say “I do”. The Paseo is a stunning venue located near Lost Dutchman State Park. The venue is best known for its desert beauty and mountain landscape. On the premises, it features a simple building for indoor hosting as well. The structure features massive windows so the view can still be admired from inside. The Paseo offers a private and peaceful experience complete with incredible sunsets. Although the venue is very versatile, it will most easily blend with rustic, bohemian, or modern decor.

THE FARM AT SOUTH MOUNTAIN

If the typical desert look isn’t your style, check out the Farm at South Mountain. A charming outdoor venue that provides a lush, green setting for your special day. Trade cacti for pecan trees and enjoy the shaded grass, flowers, and vegetable gardens throughout the space. By selecting the Farm, great food is guaranteed; their catering partner Artisan by Santa Barbara will create a delectable, seasonal menu just for you. This venue works best with country, whimsical, or vintage themes.

THE WIGWAM

Looking to celebrate all weekend long? Host your wedding weekend at the Wigwam Resort! The Wigwam has a classy southwestern vibe and is the perfect location to host all your guests. There are multiple options to choose from when selecting where to hold the ceremony and the reception; our favorite is the Trellis Garden. The Trellis Garden hosts a tall, sprawling, green trellis and is surrounded by tall hedges; your guests will be able to occupy the rooms on either side of the area making the space feel very private. The Wigwam can accommodate almost any theme type, but will especially compliment a classic, glamorous, garden, or travel-centered design.

THE ICEHOUSE

Located in downtown Phoenix, the historic Icehouse is a great choice for an eclectic taste. The warehouse turned venue has been a very popular choice due to the urban, industrial style, open-top ceremony space, and intimate feel. The Icehouse is hosted by the bespoke event design company, Cloth and Flame, so each wedding is a completely unique experience! This venue transforms with each event but is best suited to vintage, alternative, or modern themes.

THE WILLOW

A diamond in the desert, the Willow is an enchanting, private venue. The outdoor space is quintessentially Arizona with the allure of the Sonoran desert, mountains, and cacti all around. In addition to the outdoor setup, there are two buildings on the premise, separate bride and groom suites, and a modern barn-like structure. After the breathtaking sunset, dance the night away under the stars in the warm haven of the Willow. This venue is a great choice for brides interested in bohemian, country, or minimalistic themes.
