Brides! How cool is it that we can use technology to reach our wedding guests? Wedding websites are a one-stop resource for guests to view special details, access your registry, and be informed on all things your wedding! We are here to help you with some tips and tricks for your wedding website!

YOUR WEBSITE

A few things that every wedding website has the opportunity to showcase: the time, location, dress code for each wedding event, travel and stay information, and your registry! Having a timeline of the events leading up to a wedding can help the guests be in the loop. Many people may be coming from out of state for your wedding. It can be helpful to include your favorite hotels, and airport recommendations. Guests can easily purchase wedding gifts off of your registry when it is included on the website. Include a public FAQ section to address all of your guest’s concerns.

DON’T FORGET!

So many things can go into the creation of a wedding website, so here are three things we don’t want you to forget. First, stay on theme with your wedding. Incorporate the color palette of your wedding into your website. Include your engagement pictures, and personalize the site to fit the style of your love! Next, always always always use a password for these special sites. They include private information, like addresses, that anyone on the internet could access! Include the website link and password on the save the date cards you mail to guests. Lastly, only include open events on the website. Your bachelorette party is special to your bridesmaids and you don’t want just anyone showing up!
